The Stealth-Lite | Men’s Premium Black Lambskin Moto

Most moto jackets feel like a "shell" you sit inside of. The Stealth-Lite is different—it’s a second skin. We’ve selected an "A-Grade" Open-Grain Lambskin that offers an immediate, zero-day break-in period. If you’ve ever felt restricted by the "stiffness" of traditional leather, this is the mechanical correction you’ve been looking for. The Stealth-Lite doesn't ask you to adapt to it. It adapts to you — immediately, completely, and permanently.

1. Material

  • The Hide: 1.0mm - 1.1mm Premium Lambskin. This is the optimal thickness for "Plunge" leather—supple enough to fold like fabric but dense enough to provide a high-friction barrier.

  • The Texture: "Satin-Matte" Finish. We’ve avoided the "plastic" look of cheap lambskin. This hide has a natural, fine-grain pore structure that breathes and develops a soft, buttery patina over time.

  • The Hardware: Polished Gunmetal YKK. We used a "Reverse-Coil" zipper technique on the pockets to keep the silhouette clean and snag-free when you’re moving fast.

2. The "Real-World" Temperature Rating

Lambskin is naturally more porous than cowhide, making it a superior Mid-Season Specialist.

  • Comfort Zone: 10°C to 24°C (50°F to 75°F).

  • The Spring/Autumn Sweet Spot: This is your "Daily Driver" for 70% of the year. It’s light enough to wear over a t-shirt in the evening without overheating.

  • The Winter Limit: Because lambskin is thinner, it loses heat faster than steerhide. If temperatures drop below 8°C, you will need a thermal base layer (like a cashmere sweater) to maintain core warmth.

3. Anatomical Features

  • Bi-Swing Back Panels: We’ve integrated vertical expansion pleats behind each shoulder. This provides an extra 2 inches of "Reach" for the handlebars or a steering wheel, ensuring the sleeves don't pull back from your wrists.

  • Dual-Entry Utility: Features two zippered chest "Napoleonic" pockets for rapid access to your phone or ID, plus two micro-fleece lined hand pockets for warmth during stationary wait times.

4. Lambskin Care Protocol

Lambskin is a "Luxury Performance" material; it requires a softer touch than cowhide.

  • The "Scuff" Protocol: Lambskin is softer. If you get a light surface scuff, do not sand it. Simply massage the area with a warm finger—the natural oils in the leather will often "re-set" the grain.

  • The "Storage" Rule: Never store this in a plastic garment bag. Lambskin needs to "breathe" to maintain its moisture balance. Use a breathable cotton dust bag if storing for the off-season.

5. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Q: Is lambskin "tough" enough for riding? A: It is excellent for "Street-Riding" and abrasion protection at city speeds. However, for track-day racing or high-speed touring, we recommend our 1.3mm Steerhide models.

  • Q: Does this jacket run small?  A: Our Moto cut is an "Athletic Slim" fit. It is designed to sit close to the body to prevent wind-drag. If you prefer a "relaxed" look or plan to wear heavy hoodies underneath, we suggest sizing up by one.

  • Q: How do I clean city grime off it?  A: Use a damp (not dripping) cloth with distilled water. Avoid chemical soaps, which can strip the delicate "Satin" finish of the lambskin.
