Corduroy is a fabric made up of raised fine lines, even though made up of cotton it can get susceptible to dust very easily. Also, the parallel-lined texture can attract a pile of dirt or lint. But by attaining the following methods we assure you can clean the corduroy easily and make them look as good as new.

• Step 1:Don’t overweight the washing machine or put your corduroy jacket with dull-colored outfits as the dye from the corduroy itself can run off and damage others. Wash it with similar colored clothes or even better, separately.
• Step 2:Choose a gentle wash to clean your mens corduroy jacket. If it’s dark in shade then wash it with cold water and if it’s in light, pastel-colored shades then use warm water.  
• Step 3:Corduroy jackets can be washed with lukewarm or cold water. Avoid using hot water as it might damage the corduroy fabric causing its shrinkage. Depending on the material’s structure it can also be dry cleaned.
• Step 4:Another method to wash corduroy might be washing it by hand. Rub the material together softly by hand, and make sure not to do so harshly as it might wither it up.
