ADMIRAL NAVY BLUE SUEDE BOMBER LEATHER JACKET
The Admiral is for the man who has already mastered black and brown and is looking for a "third pillar" in his wardrobe. Navy blue suede is a rare find; it offers a deep, midnight-ink tone that shifts beautifully under different lighting. Unlike a standard nylon bomber, the Admiral uses the weight and drape of premium Lambskin Suede to create a structured, "heroic" frame. It’s a jacket that feels as much at home on a private deck as it does in a boardroom. The Admiral is not a jacket you discover. It is a jacket you graduate to.
🛡️ The Exterior: Midnight Lambskin Suede
The soul of this jacket is in the nap of the hide.
-
The Material: We use Top-Tier Lambskin Suede, selected for its uniform grain and velvet-like hand-feel. It is "Drum-Dyed," ensuring the navy color penetrates deep into the fibers so it won't fade or show white "stress lines" at the elbows.
-
The "Admiral" Throat Latch: A standout feature. While most bombers use a simple rib collar, the Admiral includes a Two-Button Throat Latch. When buttoned, it creates a sharp, military-inspired neck silhouette; when open, it lays flat for a relaxed, European look.
-
Elasticated Contrast: Featuring tonal navy ribbing at the cuffs and hem. This high-density elastic prevents wind-chill from entering the sleeves while maintaining the jacket's "blouson" shape.
🌡️ The Core: Quilted Viscose Thermal Shield
Inside, we’ve balanced luxury with practical warmth.
-
The Lining: Outfitted with a Diamond-Quilted Viscose Lining. Viscose is the "King of Linings"—it breathes better than polyester but has a silk-like glide that won't snag on your dress shirts.
-
Insulation: The light quilting provides enough thermal retention for 5°C to 18°C (41°F to 64°F), making it the definitive "all-season" layer for the modern traveler.
-
Storage: Four-pocket architecture. Two deep slanted exterior pockets and two internal security pockets—perfect for a passport, smartphone, and keys.
⚔️ The Hardware: Polished Gunmetal Precision
We’ve avoided bright silver or gold to keep the aesthetic "Stealth."
-
The Main Zip: Heavy-gauge Gunmetal YKK Zipper. It offers a smooth, industrial feel that complements the dark navy tones.
-
The Buttons: Reinforced "Horn-Style" buttons on the collar and pocket flaps for a touch of traditional tailoring.
👔 Styling the Admiral: From Harbour to High-Street
The Admiral works across more environments than any other jacket in our suede collection — because navy blue is the colour that dresses up without trying and dresses down without losing its authority.
-
The "Maritime Executive": Pair with a white linen shirt, cream-colored chinos, and dark brown suede loafers. It’s a high-contrast, wealthy aesthetic that works in any climate.
-
The Urban Minimalist: Wear it over an all-black base (black t-shirt, black slim jeans, black Chelsea boots). The navy suede will act as a subtle, sophisticated pop of color.
-
The Detail: This jacket pairs exceptionally well with a Silver Timepiece. The gunmetal hardware and navy hide make a stainless steel or titanium watch "pop."
📏 Fit & Technical Details
-
The "Tailored" Cut: The Admiral is a Standard-Slim Fit. It is designed to be worn over a single layer. If you are between sizes, stay True to Size for a sharp look, or go Up if you prefer a looser, "Classic Bomber" drape.
-
Weight: Mid-weight (Approx. 1.1kg – 1.4kg). It feels substantial without being bulky.
-
Handmade in Sialkot: Hand-cut and stitched by master craftsmen in Sialkot, Pakistan — the world's foremost leather manufacturing city, responsible for producing leather goods for the world's most recognised luxury brands. Every Admiral is built by artisans whose craft has been refined across generations, ensuring the nap of the suede flows consistently in one direction across every panel of the jacket
CARE:
Hanging: Use a wide wooden or padded hanger always — never fold or compress lambskin suede. The blouson structure depends on consistent shoulder support to hold its shape.
Storing: Store in a breathable cotton garment bag away from direct sunlight. Navy drum-dyed suede fades unevenly under prolonged UV exposure and cannot be reversed.
Protection: Before first wear apply a lambskin-specific suede protector spray from 20–25cm distance. Reapply every three months. Do not use standard cowhide suede sprays — they can alter the finer lambskin grain.
Brushing: Brush monthly with a soft-bristled suede brush in one direction following the natural nap. Lambskin fibres mat more easily than split-hide — consistent brushing prevents this.
Drying: If wet shake off excess moisture and air dry at room temperature on a wide hanger. Once dry brush gently to restore the navy depth. Never use a tumble dryer radiator or hairdryer.
Stain Treatment: For oil marks apply cornstarch or talcum powder and leave several hours before brushing away. For deeper stains go straight to a professional lambskin suede specialist — never use household chemicals on drum-dyed navy.
Conditioning: Apply a colour-safe lambskin suede conditioner every six months to maintain the midnight navy saturation and prevent the nap from becoming brittle.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is "Navy" hard to match with pants?
A: Actually, it's easier than black. It looks incredible with grey, tan, olive, and even dark indigo denim. The only "rule" is to avoid wearing a navy that is exactly the same shade as your pants—contrast is your friend.
Q: Will the blue color rub off on my white shirts?
A: No. Because we use a professional heat-setting process after drum-dying, the color is locked into the hide.
Q: Can I wear this if it’s humid?
A: Yes. Unlike heavy cowhide, lambskin suede is naturally porous and breathable. It’s one of the best leathers for humid spring or autumn evenings.
