Classic B-3 Sheepskin Leather Bomber Jacket

This jacket was a disappointment from the beginning. It is not a jacket for the winter (as advertised with thick shearling). It is not heavyweight as all classic B-3, RAF Bomber Jackets are made to be! The cost of returning the jacket is the roughly the same as the purchase price. What they gave me as an alternative (exchange)…is not acceptable.

First of all the construction and feel of the coat is great. My only quibble is how big the sleeve seams are but I understand why they are so thick due to the lining. So not really a negative. By the number on the sizing chart I should have bought an XL sized coat but had heard I should go up a size to be sure it fits. So I bought a 2XL. The coat fits well but is a little tight in the shoulders even with the larger size. Over all pretty happy with the coat and its plenty warm.

My grandson loves his new bomber jacket. The only trouble was with the delivery. It took them two days of scheduling a time, only to change it 4 times. I finally got it on the second day.

I was very impressed with the high quality and attention to details on the Classic B-3 Bomber jacket. The leather is thick but supple and every seam is encased. The lining is so soft and well made. I got a good price for this jacket and will order from Shearling Leather again I'm sure.

I'm quite pleased with the product, it feels very comfortable and looks very nice however the coat seen on the website Is different to what I got!

Slight cons: The main difference would be the square stiching on the back of the coat on the website which is not there on the coat I got delivered which worried me so I would have to see if I can modify it to include the square stiching.
•The label on the inside is a black square for me compared to another review which included (Sherling by Mayfest) this isn't a big problem however it would of been nice to have that label (my opinion).
•Looking closer at the jacket their are some light areas on the back which bugged me but this is kinda expected since it is real leather so I may colour it in with something to hide the lighter areas.
•Finally, the wool is not real however this did not matter much to me as it looks a bit nicer than real wool.

Pros: main reason I bought this (and what you may be looking for too) is to find a close as possible Leon Kennedy Resident Evil 4 jacket for a reasonable price.
•for the price of the jacket, it is very well made and Is extremely comfortable to wear.
• for those curious, I am 6.2 with 42 chest so I bought a medium which worked really well for my size. I could of got a large if I wanted a baggier look but I'm happy with this size.

Overall: I would recommend this leather jacket to anyone who is looking for a Leon Kennedy jacket as it is a close resemblance for the price of £170 for me as I live in the UK.

Quick notes: •the zipper is on the opposite side compared to Leon's jacket (based off of Re4 remake)
• their is no square stiching on the back of the coat compared to the one seen on this website (for me at least)
• the fur I believe is not real (could be wrong tho).
