Unisex Hooded Cowhide Leather Halloween Costume Coat
Make the coat the centrepiece of your costume. Crafted from cowhide leather, this dramatic longline design combines the commanding shape of a double-breasted trench coat with a spacious hood, adjustable waist and extensive buckle detailing. Its structured silhouette works equally well for men and women and can be styled for gothic, vampire, steampunk, fantasy, detective or post-apocalyptic characters.

Hooded Trench-Coat Design
A wide notched-lapel collar creates a sharp, structured neckline beneath the hood. Metal-tipped drawcords add definition around the hood opening, while four short buckle tabs—two on each side of the upper chest—give the coat its distinctive costume-inspired character.
The front fastens with a traditional double-breasted button arrangement rather than a zipper. A removable-looking waist belt passes through secure belt loops and fastens with a rectangular metal buckle, allowing the wearer to shape the coat at the waist or leave it slightly relaxed over layered clothing.
Cuffs, Stitching and Hem
Each full-length sleeve ends in a deep cuff fitted with two adjustable buckle straps. Metal eyelets provide several fastening positions, making it possible to refine the cuff opening while reinforcing the coat’s rugged appearance.
Tonal edge topstitching follows the hood, lapels, chest tabs, belt and cuff straps. Long vertical panel seams run through the front, while a clean centre-back seam helps maintain the coat’s structured shape. The straight, below-knee hem is completed with a centre-back walking vent for easier movement.
Practical Exterior Details
Two vertical welt-style hand pockets are incorporated into the lower front without interrupting the long silhouette. Dark, antiqued-look buttons and metal buckles provide contrast against the leather while maintaining the coat’s dramatic vintage character.
